Tomato soup

We have an old-fashioned delicious recipe for you, namely: tomato soup. Very simple but oh so delicious!


6 tomatoes
1 winter carrot
1 yellow onion
1 teaspoon of thyme
3 garlic cloves
2 vegetable stock cubes
1 small tin of tomato paste
750 ml water


  1. Clean the vegetables. Cut the tomatoes in four. Peel and press the garlic and peel and chop the yellow onion. Cut the carrot into small cubes.
  2. Fry the yellow onion, garlic and carrot on low heat for 4 minutes. Add the thyme and cook over medium heat for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the tomatoes, the water, the vegetable stock cubes and the tomato puree, let the soup simmer gently for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Puree the soup with a hand blender. Taste and season with pepper and salt.
